Self-Evaluation, the key to eliminating mental dependence in human beings Problem StatementSelf evaluation has proven to be an effective method of looking at the value of individuals and their contributions to projects. Yet, in a world full of judgment, most people are concerned with what someone else thinks. Due to this mentality, people are often chasing the perception of what another may expect, like that of a superior (a manager, a professor, or a boss). In reality, most people don’t have the time or awareness to be setting expectations for other people. Most thoughts within the human mind are conceived with self as the center. This leaves a population chasing non-existent expectations. Looking at the value or worth of an individual, no one else knows more about that subject more than the individual himself/herself. The traditional educational system created in the vocational movement was brilliant in creating a workforce that can be controlled by the capitalists. Although there are medical exceptions, most children are brilliant learners while the educational methodology used was insufficient. Removing the fear of judgment from a child’s mind will create responsible adults who own their actions. Many studies have proven that self-esteem and self-confidence are the basis of one’s success. It is self-esteem and self-confidence that gives birth to great leaders. So why is an out-of-date educational system still instilling fear of judgment into children? Systemic Solutions PerspectiveThe theory of mental dependence is the study about how the human mind is trained to fear those in power, rather than value their own judgment. It creates a society where the traditional hierarch dictates the actions of subordinates. The system solution lies in ... for more information, contact Dr. Sun directly.
